I'm delighted to recount some of my memorable experiences from 2023 with you.

April and July 2023, Berlin

I had the opportunity to lead the local production for these huge Latin artists. This involved lyasing with suppliers in Berlin, managing technical aspects to meticulously handling budgeting, scheduling, and artist communication, all while ensuring seamless execution for the concert promoter.
On site, I was running the production were fortunately we had all the required materials and we kept within our production schedule.
The artists delivered stellar performances, captivating the sold-out audience and making for unforgettable nights of music and entertainment. ;)

This production started with the requirement from GSR to oversee the production of one of the concerts and then expanded to traveling and advancing 5 concerts. Humbled to work with one of the top salsa artists of the last 30 years and one of my favorite artists.
In this advances I was taking care of the Production Management (Stage, Sound, Visuals and Lights) as well as scouting the venues previous to the technical crew arriving making sure the required materials where in place and defining stage adjustments.
After the arrival of the GSR crew, I supported stage, monitors and our latin FOH legend, Cesar Sierra.

For this amazing project, I had the responsability of leading the technical coordination for three concerts. It started with updating the technical rider, followed up by holding communication with the local technical teams, parallel to organizing with the production teams general production details for each venue.
Also very important was submitting riders to the artist management as well as holding communication with these Jazz titans teams.
As Tour Manager, I had the responsability of organizing the schedules, hospitality and transportation for the rehearsals as well as for the concerts taking into account a different 50 piece orchestra for each country. On the road I looked after the artists and having available everything what they needed.
As FOH Engineer, I had to lead the local audio teams to the audio objectives defined for the concert. I was working in Yamaha CL5 and Rivage mixers.
It was an absolute challenge, nevertheless the results were worth the effort.

PANAMA JAZZ FESTIVAL

As the technical coordinator of the festival, I oversee five venues: three of them running double concerts for five days; one for two day Gala Concerts and a one-day outside concert conveying 30k audience, being one of Panama´s biggest Festivals. Around 40 ensambles, groups and big bands pass by our stages yearly.
Some of the required tasks are: Suppliers selection, Staffing, Schedules, Budgeting, Logistics, Training, Communication w/ artists, as well as FOH/Monitors mixing.
As the Panama Jazz Festival has a very strong educational pillar, we use the most out of it giving training to volunteers interested in audio and concert production having the support from engineers from all around the globe.

After 14 years working for the PJF, the magic of working together with our team and being back home is very special.

I am humbled to travel with one of the most important panamanian musicians of all time.
​
In charge of organizing tour details, logistics, schedules, advance and communicating with all the involved personnel to travel smoothly and deliver one time experiences in every concert.

Of course I have to take care of the two other jazz masters completing the trio. Great human beings: John Patitucci and Adam Cruz
